School Profile

Monument Valley High School got its start in 1940 when it housed 26 students in a one-room schoolhouse near the trading post. Today, the school serves about 650 students.

We are proud to promote that Monument Valley High School has earned a "B" letter grade from the Arizona Department of Education. The letter grade is earned based on ratings in the following areas: graduation rate, ELA and Math Proficiency, Growth, College and Career Readiness Indicators, and English Language Learner Reclassification Rate. We are making strides each day to make the learning experience a positive one. We are guided by the vision and mission statements below.
