From the Office of Baker Middle School:
Miss Nala R. Nelson completed SY2022-2023 as Miss Kayenta Middle School. She will continue her reign as Miss Baker Middle School SY2023-2024. She has been very active in her role by attending many functions on and off the reservation like the Navajo Nation Fair & Rodeo - Miss Navajo Nation Pageant, MVHS Fall 2023 Homecoming Parade, Western Agency Fair Pageant & Kids' Day, Page Indigenous Youth Day and balancing out her schedule by being a productive student-athlete in the classroom, running cross - country and playing volleyball.
On behalf of Baker Middle School, we extend our gratitude to her supportive family for allowing her to represent Kayenta Unified School District No. 27 an additional school year.
